NH Research 4700-24 DC Electronic Load
The 24kW, high-performance NH Research 4700-24 DC Electronic Load is made for a variety of testing uses. This load is ideal for severe testing of power conversion and storage equipment, including DC power supplies, telecom rectifiers, and batteries. It has a maximum current capacity of 4800A and a voltage range of 1-120V. Because of its sturdy construction and small enclosure, which measures 1448 x 584 x 762 mm and weighs 570 pounds (259 kg), it can be used as a standalone bench-top configuration or integrated into automated test stations.
With its quick transient simulation capabilities and extensive internal measurements, the NHR 4700-24 is designed to handle a wide range of current at low voltages. It has an accuracy of 0.12% + 0.06% for current ranges of 80A and 4800A, and 0.01% + 0.02% for DC voltage ranges of 6.6V, 66V, and 166V. With a resolution of 0.0015% for both voltage and current measurements, the load guarantees accurate and trustworthy data collecting.
Complex dynamic load profiles, such as stepped responses, changing slew rates, microsecond pulses, and even an AC component on the DC waveform, can be produced by this electronic load. Macros, which can have up to 100 steps and are run immediately by the load for the fastest possible transition, are used to manage these profiles. In testing circumstances, macros can be saved in the system controller for later usage, increasing the load's adaptability and effectiveness.
The NHR 4700-24 can be controlled automatically by remote controllers that utilize common test programming languages, or manually using a GUI with a touch panel. It also includes pre-installed drivers, such as IVI-C/IVI-COM, LabVIEW VIs, and the SCPI Command Reference Manual, and allows external connection via LAN. Its capabilities can be further expanded with optional software tools including the DC Load Sequencer, emPowerTM Test Executive, and EnerchronTM Test Management Software.
Extra features of the NHR 4700-24 include power-up self-test of all major functions, continuous performance monitoring, calibration saved in EEPROM, and remote sensing with a maximum 2V drop between sense and load input terminals. In addition, the unit provides analog control/monitoring with 0-10V signals and trigger input/output for synchronization with external devices.
